These machines features up to 16,000 rpm cutting and dual direct-drive torque motor work spindles, which is ideal for small gear parts up to 2 /12.7 dp. module.

To help us meet your demands for customisation and flexibility, we devise spindle motors – the heart of the machine – and develop our own AFFOLTER CNC Pegasus numerical control, which delivers unbeatable dynamism, speed, and precision.

Over the years, specific loading and gripping systems have complemented our products, while options intended to make production more autonomous, such as the feeding and discharge of parts, have helped increase production volumes and speeds.

We also develop and make specific tools for loading, gripping,
and extraction purposes, such as:

The gear hob cutter is held on a hob spindle, with parts held in place between cleats or gripped tight. On the AFFOLTER AF160 machine, the gripping forced is controlled and set electronically as part of the program for the part.
